Community Guidelines

Short version: be honest, be specific, don't be abusive.

What we want

What gets blocked

Swearing

You can swear. We mask the word for display โ€” "a complete f***ing nightmare" โ€” and publish everything else exactly as you wrote it. Nothing about your point gets softened, and your original text is kept on record.

We mask rather than reject because losing a whole honest review over one angry word helps nobody, and because a page of uncensored swearing gets dismissed by exactly the people who most need to read it.

Naming individuals

You may name a specific person in a review. Because this carries real risk for both you and the person named, every post that names someone is held for manual review before it is published. When we review it, we ask:

We often publish these with the name replaced by the role. The signal a job-seeker needs โ€” "the engineering managers here micromanage" โ€” survives that edit intact.

Reporting content

Every post has a Report link. Our grievance officer responds within 36 hours, as required under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. See the Grievance Officer page.

If a report is upheld, the content is removed and the decision is logged. If it's rejected, the content stays up and we explain why. We do not remove accurate criticism because a company objects to it.
